Mentoring students

Today I had the great pleasure to meet a group of Year 11 students from Hawera High School, and their Technology/Computing teacher Di Peterson.

The students are going to be entering the IPENZ Neighbourhood Engineer Awards competition by working with real clients to build website each. An exciting project for them!

I will be helping by providing mentor services to them, and guiding them in their projects as they develop.

It is really interesting for me to get to work with younger students for a change, and I hope that we can work to create something Award-worthy! 🙂

  1. Hi there! I’m at work surfing around your blog from my new apple iphone! Just wanted to say I love reading your blog and look forward to all your posts! Keep up the excellent work!

    • Hi Garcinia, it’s just one of the standard themes with a free WP blog. Not very exciting unfortunately! 😛

  2. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog shine.
Please let me know where you got your design. Bless you
